The friday group did Bloody Rondo last night and Imperial Code!!! All right go team!!!
Imperial Code was way easy and I think would be a good one for points for a trio and some quick experience points/limit points. Basically there are either Formor Ninja, called Kusa(True Sight), or Ghosts (have a Doom move) in the assault, along with three ninja NM's. You only have to kill the ninja NM's to win the assault but since the Kusa are ture sight you end up killing some of them anyway. Good drops from this assault are Omicron Ring and Phi Necklace.
The other assault we did last night was the Bloody Rondo - this was a very fun/challenging fight.
This will take you most of the 30mins allotted time and its a good idea to bring some food also.
Basic thing here is kill Dracula!!
Now what makes this one tough is a few things:
- AoE knockback stun move for everyone in range (did 300+ damage to me everytime)
- AoE Drain move (took over 200 every time)
- Doppelganger copy of whoever has hate
- Directional Charm (Nocturnal Servitude) which can leave you with two or three people charmed and maybe with shadows up =/
- Gaze effect Doom ( Eternal Damnation) - which means backwards tanking
The copy that Dracula makes of the tank seems to be equal in gear but not HP(low) or skill..... the skill is a rough one cause me with evasion 301 and evasion gear on he missed me only a handful of times with while Rathiel was using staff (skill 115...), ohhhh and it seems that the copy has TP regen also..... When the Copy comes out take it away quick as possible from the melee group as Dracula might do the drain move making the tanking of the copy really hard. We did me (THF) and Elliedra (BLM) on the copy, while everyone else stayed on Dracula. This worked like a charm - speaking of which he only charmed one time on the second attempt as opposed to spamming it during the first. Things got a little rough around 15% I ended up using perfect dodge on one of the Doppleganger to let the mages concentrate on Rathiel, in the end we won!! Thank you Nyena, Rathiel, Carthoris, Elliedra, and Zaphod.
